When you have a related item in a database structure, the system normally displays a drop-down list with the names of all the related items. This is great when the number of items is modest, but when you have hundreds or thousands of items to pick from, the list is slow to generate and hard to navigate.
We now have the option for related-item pickers to use an autocomplete field; just type the first few letters, and the system displays a list of just those items whose name starts with those letters.
To enable the autocomplete mode, enter "autocomplete:true" in the Type Options field when defining the database item. If there are multiple options in that field, separate them with commas.
